Hi
This question is regarding logging.
When haproxy emits “ALERT” or “WARNING” to the log, there are no timestamps. This makes life more difficult when filters (e.g. grep
) are used to find such events and isolate the time of the problem.
Is it possible to configure haproxy in a way that it will add timestamps to such events?
Example:
# cat access.log | egrep 'ALERT' | head -1
[ALERT] 039/120255 (1115) : backend 'ServerFarm' has no server available!
We are using haproxy 2.2.8. on CentOS 7:
# haproxy -vv
HA-Proxy version 2.2.8-7bf78d7 2021/01/13 - https://haproxy.org/
Status: long-term supported branch - will stop receiving fixes around Q2 2025.
