Stick-table doesnt create entry using dns name but ip works

If I use dns name that refers to the farms then the connection will work but no entry in stick table.

10.75.1.60 is virtual ip address for load balancers (this works)
10.75.1.61 is load balancer 1 (this works)
farm2.domain.com doesnt work (ip to 10.75.1.60)
lb1.corp.domain.com (10.75.1.61) works

I am stumped !
