I’d like to deploy an Haproxy server to handle ssh connection into a cluster of servers but I’m concerned about scalability. We have 200-300 users and maybe 500 total ssh connections at a time. Will a single Haproxy server be able to handle these connections with no slowdown? What sort of load average can I expect on the Haproxy server? Do I need a lot of horsepower or will the ssh connections not introduce much load?
