/usr/local/etc/rc.d/haproxy: WARNING: failed to start haproxy

hello world!

i’m trying to start haproxy, however i’m unable to do so:

# haproxy -v
HAProxy version 2.9.6-9eafce5 2024/02/26 - https://haproxy.org/

Starting haproxy.

i don’t see any messages in /var/log/messages, and meanwhile haproxy is still trying to start…
